Holiday gumbo, boats
The Delcambre Holiday Gumbo Cookoff and boat parade will be held beginning at 11 a.m. for the cookoff and 6:30 p.m. for the boat parade Dec. 5 at the Delcambre Shrimp Festival Grounds and the Delcambre boat docks.

Delcambre Christmas Boat Parade
Announcing a night time, lighted boat parade to celebrate Christmas on Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. All boat owners with boats 15 feet and above are invited to decorate their boats in the Christmas spirit and parade down the Delcambre Canal. For viewers, this is a free event.

ST. LUCY FESTIVAL OF LIGHT

The St. Lucy Festival of Lights will be held on December 13 at the St. Martin De Tours Church Square in St. Martinville from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Food, arts, crafts, musical entertainment, Christmas Parade and open house of St. Martin De Tours will be part of the festivities. There will be Lighting of the Square, Live Nativity, Lighting of Candles in Honor of Lost Children.

Ol School Record Hop
An Ol' School Record Hop, featuring Queens Of The City Social Club, will be held on Saturday, December 12 from 9 p.m. - 2 p.m. at
Club BirdCage located on Lafayette Street New Iberia. Cover Charge is $5.
All social clubs, horse clubs, biker clubs and anyone who wants to have a good time is invited.

Fresh fruits & vegetables, arts & crafts, seafood, baked goods, and much more. Every week, year-round. Come and get you fresh produce and Mother's Day gift too.

Weeks Hall Art Exhibit
An exhibit featuring the paintings of Weeks Hall and his friends, Alphonse Hitter and J. S. Elwood Gary will be displayed from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays at the Shadows Visitors Center at 320 East Main St. through Nov. 29. These three men lived in New Iberia in the 1920s to 1950s and shared a love of art. The exhibit will include paintings from the Shadows Museum Collection and from private collections. The exhibit is free and open to the public. For more information, call 369-6446.
