World-Wide Taxpayer Funded Abortions

The Senate is considering permanently repealing the so-called Mexico City policy, which prohibits foreign aid from going to groups that provide abortions or abortion counseling. First written by President Ronald Reagan in 1984, the measure has been rescinded by Democratic presidents, including Barack Obama, and reinstated by Republicans. Sponsors of the measure say that seesawing creates confusion for groups that receive the aid and want a more permanent decision.

Call Mary Landrieu And Charlie Melancon and tell them to stop this measure!

Ah, so you mean she is following the will of the people who voted for her. I'm not sure what the problem is there. "

" But Bob, she comes down here and supports the port's measures in order to buy your support, then goes back up to Washington and consistently votes on such issues as keeping the murder of innocent unborn children legal, Illegal aliens rights to gaining full benefits of the U.S., higher taxes, she will support this Government takeover of our health care system with a public option, and she will support the cap & trade bill which will cripple the oil & gas industry. But hey,......at least our port got dredged, right? "

    " Frank you are wrong
As a liason to governmet at a port business I meet with mary on numerous occasions and she always held our concerns close to heart and I might say deliveried to local businesses and in turn individuals
On the back side I had the pleasure of providing David Vitter with a tour of fabrication facilities with Roy Pontiff while he was a caanidate for Senator
I was distressed with his lack of interest to what exactly we did at the Port and his distraction to be at the next place to get votes "

" Mary Landrieu and Charlie Melancon do listen. I have spoken to both recently. They are not going to be cowered by tea baggers or republicans who have never voted for them in the first place.
Charlie has been here several times and Mary was in New Iberia and spent the night here last week. They are not going to provide the Hanity or Rush crowd with news coverage. Both are solid conservative democrats that are working hard for Louisiana. "

" Mary Landrieu and Charlie Melancon does not, nor will they ever listen to you. They are not the least bit concerned about how you feel on any political issue. Did either one of them come to this area during their recess? NO! They only march to the beat of the Democratic party. They will not vote against their party leaders policies. You will have your chance to speak to both of them from the voting booth. For Melancon that will be next year, for Landreiu, unfortunately that wont be for another 5 years. "
