Wells - Hall

DeVatrice Nicole “Niki” Wells and Renaldo “Re” James Hall II were married on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Lafayette. The bride is the daughter of Betty Calligan-Wells and Robert Wells Jr. of New Iberia and the groom is the son of Sheila Cooper-Hall and Renaldo Hall I of New Iberia. Officiating at the double-ring ceremony was the Rev. Thomas James.

Escorted by her father, Robert, the bride wore a strapless, off-white floor-length gown featuring a chapel-length train accented with embroidery with pearl and crystal beads. The bodice was embellished with pearls, rhinestones and sequins. In her hair, she wore a princess-style tiara accented with pearls and rhinestones supporting a single-tier veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses and tiny lilies with lilac and silver accents.

Alaina Conner and Claudia Fontenot served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Eboney Wells and Robin Wells, sisters of the bride. Corlaina Copper served as the flower girl.

Juan Delahoussaye served as best man. Groomsmen were Jared Butler, Benjamin Green and Chad Wells, brother of bride.

Ushers were Brother Jamar Jackson and Eric Narcisse Jr. Following a wedding trip to the Bahamas at a later date, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
