Please Help!!!  My son took my black lab mixed dog for a joy ride on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, in the back of his white Toyota truck.  Some how he lost my dog.  He was last seen in the back of his truck at the Food N Fun on the corner of Darnall Rd and Hwy 182 (Spanish Trail). After leaving Food N Fun he went down Darnall Rd to visit a friend on Ozenne Rd., in Lydia. When he arrived at his friends house he doesn't know if the dog jumped out of the truck and ran off or if he was even in the back of the truck when he arrived.  Please help!!  I am offering a reward.  He is a black mixed lab with white markings on his chest, he is wearing a small chain link collar with his rabies tag attached. Please call: 337-352-1019.  Thank you.

" Congratulations on finding your dog Ed. I am sure that he must be happy to be home. "

" I am so happy for your family Ed. I shed tears of joy. I prayed for that dog everyday since hearing of him being lost. I too have been in your shoes and was lucky to find mine. Hope Bear grows old with you and doesn't get lost again. I am sure Bear enjoyed his little adventure but is so happy to be safely home. A shout out to Todd or anyone else who helped a lost animal find it's way home. "

" Thank you. Thank you to everyone who called, searched and helped us to bring "BEAR" home. We found him. He was just a few doors down from the Food N Fun at PEI Electric. Thanks Todd for calling. "

" No, we have not found him, yet. We are still searching everyday. We go to the animal shelter at the air base daily. We have been to the Humane Society. We have put out flyers, an ad in the paper and contacted Blue Rolfes' animal page. We have recieved numerous calls but have not had any luck as of yet. We are still searching and still hope that he is found. He could be anywhere. Thanks for asking. "

" Did you find your dog? Yes, the dog pound is located around the air base, more past the Sugarena on a back road. I know how to get there, but I don't know the names of the road. Call the dog pound and they can give you directions. I think it could be Broken Arrow Road or around there. "

" First, I hope you find your dog and I hope he/she is OK.
Second, I hope everyone who reads this realizes the danger of transporting an animal in the bed of a pickup truck. "

" Animal Lover, Are you speaking of the dog pound out at the air base? I have been to the Humane Society but I am not sure where the dog pound is located.
We are still searching. I live off the Old Jeanerette Rd., by Baron's, so if anybody sees him in that area(he may be trying to find his way home) please call. Thanks for the comments. "

" Check the dog pound daily. Don't just call, go over there. I know from personal experience. I called and they did not pickup nor did anyone bring my dog. Someone told me to go over there and my dog was there. And also they euthanize every Tuesday. Good Luck, I hope you find your dog. "
