I would like to know if there every be anything done with the visitor side, because when it rains it is a mess to get to your seats. My thoughts with -2- 5a teams playing there and out of town teams coming in the school board would want it to look nice and make a good impression, but the way it is now the only thing wanting to sit on that side is pigs.

" This is an issue that can be resolved by each school having their own stadium. Do people realize that every home game the amount of money that NISH and Westgate have to spend on buses to transport the teams and band? Also the parking is horrible and not a safe situation. I know this would break a long tradition, but each school has the facilities to have a home field. Instead of putting money into improving LGP the money needs to go into letting each school have their own field. "

" Seems to me that with all the money the school board has, they could make the neccessary improvements to that stadium. What an embarrassment. "

" You made a reference to the PA annonuncer. Are you talking about the guy who left the microphone in an on position and humiliated the West St. Mary player a couple of years ago?? That guy is as big a farce as Jeff Boggs. Besides the fact that the PA is weak, he screams into the mike to the point you can't even understand him. Maybe it's just my lack of understaning the language he speaks. "

" Wait until you see the shape that the sideline area and I would imagine the visitor's side is in for TONIGHTS game. And its homecoming so all of the young ladies and their parents have to walk through that to get to the field.
Westgate and STM played on the filed last night! "

" I think the exact same thing about Loreauville. I was visitor and it was a mess there too. All these things need to be addressed by IPSB. they want our money by attending these functions, the least they could do is make it nice where we will want to support them "

" They need to both be playing at their school campus'. There is no parking at LGP stadium. Both schools have parking and plenty of space. "

" well you can make that only one 5A team next year. Westgate built their own stadium next to their school and I heard it was really nice. now since just NISH will be playing there I am not sure if its their responsibility to fix it up or the school board since its off campus? "

End Zone wrote on Oct 22, 2009 7:40 PM:

" The IPSB should be in a position to spend some major bucks to improve the total appearance of LGP stadium. Since the renewal has now passed, it's time for them to bring the stadium up to 5A standards. Did they ever fix that horrible public address system?? I hate going to games, especially Homecoming, to listen to the weak output from the press box. As bad as Jeff Boggs is at announcing games for KANE, I'd rather stay home than to listen to the gurgle from the game announcer. "
