Quotation Marks

When you respond to a post here on the forum quotation marks are automatically placed aroundyour response. First off, I don't see the need for this, and secondly, when part of you reply is a quote of someone which requires quotation marks there ends up being a double set of quotation marks around it.  Before you read the responses to this post, stop and take a guess as to how many of the responses will be complaining that they can't believe someone would post something this unimportant. LOL. (Of course, maybe they won't bother after they read my previous sentence).

" you can separate your quotes with single quote marks. that's the grammatically correct way to do it. "
