White....SHHHH Don't Say That Word

My son attends a public school in the Iberia Parish and is being harassed because he's white. When did it become un-cool to be a white person? Why is it we hang our head in shame? Why is it our children are fearful to be proud of who they are? Why is it, we are prejudice, when we have a caucasian activity (if you EVER see one)? I just saw a commericial for a hispanic job fair. White people, also labeled as caucasians, would NEVER be allowed to have a caucasian job fair. It would be prejudice for us to do that. It' ENOUGH ALREADY!!!! I didn't own slaves, my parents didn't, my grandparents didn't, my children don't and we even have an African-American president who has NEVER lived in Africa. I mean come on, start refering to me as a Euro-American. I no longer want to check a box for caucasian, I DEMAND a box for Euro-American and by the way I HAVE lived in Europe before. I HAVE A DREAM...that one day our nation will be able to move forward from the past and acknowledge everyone for who they are and not the color of their skin. (WE are now in a state of reverse racism). I HAVE A DREAM....Where, my child, will be accepted to college based on his/her amazing grades/g.p.a/SAT score and not the color of their skin, or lack of. I HAVE A DREAM....Where, all races, can openly express pride in their background, culture, and race. Where there isn't just African-American and Hispanic Day/Club but Euro-American Day and Club. Yes, I TOO Have a DREAM. .....That we all realize ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!
