Anna Belle S. Viator

COTEAU – Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Harris J. Viator, the former Anna Belle Sonnier, 78, at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau with Father Barry Crochet officiating. Interment will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery in St. Martinville. Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at David Funeral Home in New Iberia from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a Rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume Friday from 8 a.m. until service time.

A native of Youngsville, longtime resident of Coteau and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Viator died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at 5:40 p.m. in a local health care facility. She enjoyed flowers, reading and being with her family.

Survivors include her son Kent Viator and wife, Gene’e, of Coteau; grandchildren Sarah and Gabrielle Viator of Lafayette, Emily and Amanda Viator of Coteau and Grant Viator of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harris J. Viator; parents, Anatole and Eunice Boutte Viator; a son Neal J. Viator and several siblings.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
