Homer E. Sanderford Jr.

JEANERETTE - Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at Beau Pre’ Cemetery in Jeanerette, for Homer E. Sanderford Jr, 79, who passed away on Friday, Oct. 23, 2009 in New Iberia.

Survivors include his wife, Alice A. Sanderford of New Iberia; daughters Jo Ann Leleux and husband Billy of New Iberia, Darlene LeBlanc and husband Johnny of New Iberia, Beth Turner and husband Darrel of New Iberia; brother Frank Sanderford of Los Angeles; sister Helen Parker of Collins, Miss; 16 grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Edward Sanderford, Sr. and Ida Gene Corley Sanderford; son Eddie Dale Burrell; brother Lewis Sanderford; sister Edwina Sanderford; and grandson Jason Burrell.

A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., in New Iberia.
