Bodin - Ryder

Cegie Cervlia Bodin and Justin Charles Ryder were married on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, in Pensacola, Fla. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robby Bodin of St. Martinville and Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Thibodeaux of New Iberia and the groom is the son of Emily Leblanc of New Iberia and John Ryder of Abbeville.

Escorted by her father, Robby, the bride wore a charmeuse, V-neck halter-style gown with ruched surplice bodice and beaded, embroidered dropped waist. The gown featured a godet chapel train adorned with beaded embroidered appliqués. In her hair, she wore a white tropical flower securing a  simple, ivory-colored tulle veil. She carried a tropical bouquet of coral roses, coral dendrobium orchids, orange cymbiclium orchids, lime-green calla lilies, yellow pincushion proteas, lime-green fressia and safflower, accented with seashells and a rosary which belonged to her grandmother.

Whitney Thibodeaux, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Nathan Bodin, brother of the bride, served as ring bearer.

Colt Ryder, brother of the groom, served as best man.

A reception was held for family and friends at the Erath Community Center. Following a wedding trip to Ohio Rios, Jamaica, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
