Broussard — Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Our Savior’s Church in Broussard for Dax Matthew Landry, 7 days old, son of Christopher J. and Paige Duplantis Landry, of St. Martinville who died on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, at Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Lafayette.

Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Pastor Jacob Aranza will conduct the funeral service.

Dax is also survived by his sister Miyon Marie Landry; paternal grandfather, Elias Landry; maternal grandparents, Walter and Frances Duplantis; paternal great-grandfather, Roger Goulas; maternal great-grandfather, Hubert “Bee” Hulin; and a loving family of aunts, uncles, godparents, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Debbie Goulas Landry; paternal great-grandmother, Carolyn Goulas; maternal great-grandmother, Lorena Hulin; paternal great- grandparents, Evely and Gerard Landry; and maternal great-grandparents, Sadie and Gayton Duplantis.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and continue at 9 a.m. on Saturday until 12 noon.

Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
