Woods — Sampay

Stephanie Simone Woods and Blaine Patrick Sampay were married recently on the beach at Fort Walton Beach, Fla. The bride is the daughter of Steve and Pam Woods of Youngsville and the groom is the son of Ronald and Betty Sampay of Lafayette. Officiating at the double-ring, sunset beach ceremony was the Rev. David Emmons.

Escorted by her father, Steve, the bride wore a white Chiffon over satin, slim A-line gown with a gathered bodice and beaded lace empire waist. She carried a bouquet of an assortment of hot pink calla lilies, cream-colored hydrangea and lipstick roses.

Misty Woods, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Hayle Sonnier, neice of the groom, served as junior bridesmaid. Alexie Adams, godchild of the bride and groom, served as flower girl.

Ray Angelle, cousin of the groom, served as best man. Junior groomsmen were Cameron Sampay and Jacob Hawkins, nephews of the groom.

A reception was held for family and friends at the Breakers Association Room in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Following a wedding trip of a cruise to Key West and the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Youngsville.
